
Minder Bear 🧸

This game was born from the innocent idea of a teddy bear who protects their child at night, diving into their dreams and trying to defend them from nightmares as the baby continues their dreamlike journey through various interesting zones, with puzzles (which I haven’t fully implemented yet) and nightmare enemies.
As a developer, I wanted to give the game a dreamy atmosphere, experimenting with a tilt-shift effect and playing with camera perspectives to make the world feel miniature.
I managed to implement most of the game using C++, with a small portion in Blueprints toward the end (approximately 70-30) to simplify the creation of the UI, main menu, and level loading.
Definitely something I’ll include in my portfolio.🧸

All of the static meshes used for the characters (Bad bear, Minder bear and baby) went through a skeleton creation and weight painting process in order to implement animation retargeting and simplify motion assignment.
I’m grateful to the creators of the assets I used — they were truly optimized for video games.
